Painting with Paper

Get out the rubbing alcohol......gelling down painted papers, again and this is the best to disconnect from the gel medium which I use
and, when using painted papers to paint, I usually wear some of them
for the next few days if I am not careful!

It was interesting to work on this sheep, finding that it is easier to
make to wool lay correctly in the painting, to work with small
pieces of painted papers working from the outside inward.

The Double Line Painters will be doing 2 workshops at Sedalia Center  Artisan Fair  (Bedford County between Bedford and Big Island) on May 31st showing how to make your painted papers and then
use them in a painting.  Hope to see you there.
