Flowers in the Window are the subject for this collage and painting.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to have the time to explore many aspects of painting after I retired from my medical career and this has opened a lot of doors for developing friends and starting a "life #2". I have had an opportunity to study with numerous very talented artists in the areas where I have lived and attend workshops and classes with nationally known artists.

Galleries where my work is represented currently include
2nd Helpings Gallery in Roanoke,Virginia,
Whimsical art in the Black Dog Architectural Salvage in the Market Place in Roanoke, Va.
Goose Creek Gallery in Bedford, Virginia
Sunset River Marketplace Gallery in Calabash, North Carolina
Holly's Art Escapes in Morehead City, North Carolina.

A pot of flowers and a bit of sun brighten up the winter .
Water media chickens and whimsy.
The Golden Flowers of summer were the inspiration for this painting
which is located at the 2nd Helpings Gallery in Roanoke, Virginia.

Cold Wax and oil  were used for this painting.

Whimsical paintings of cows and roosters are some of the subjects that I enjoy.  I moved from
the coastal area where I was painting pelicans and herons in situations that were the bit of whimsy,
but when I relocated to the Mountains, the cows and roosters became my whimsical critters.
