Winter snows, ice and cold temperatures makes me yearn for the spring days we will have to plein air paint with warmer temperatures and colorful days.
However, now I make use of studio time to make some art, using and making painted papers, design and prepare new art for spring.  I decided to resume growing the rooster collection.  With some painted papers, I took my rooster works to 2nd Helpings Gallery for a demonstration last week and painting the rooster.  I had an opportunity to see some friends I had not seen for a while and to talk with some new
customers.   Here is what developed during the demonstration, and I call it Caught You Watching!

Today I am off to paint at 2nd Helpings again.  Since we have such a cold/winter forecast and snow of the way I will plan to paint spring spring flowers.

Stay warm, safe and hope we don't get too snowed in!
